So, tell me, do you struggle with schedules and calendars and clocks as I do?
Do you wake up with the rooster or stay awake with the rooster? (As anyone with a rooster knows, roosters crow when they feel like it, not just in the early morning).
Do you follow a daily routine that is scheduled to the minute, or do you prefer blocks or benchmarks of time? Or do you just live your day, as it comes at you?
My greatest struggle with myself is my lack of a schedule. This makes for all sorts of spontaneous fun, but I feel like I’m supposed to have a schedule, that I need a schedule. Yet, we’re all happy and fed and clothed and the house stays pretty neat, and the kids are bright and smart. So do we really need to be all strict with ourselves? I’m started to wonder if I shouldn’t just embrace this as a part of me, and let go of worrying over it.
What do you think?
