…but it looks like I was!
I didn't even realize I hadn't been blogging until Jerri, in the comments, asked me if I'm okay.
Yep. I'm okay.
My man, that handsome thing I married 16 years ago, got a job offer from a competing company which gave him an unexpected week off between jobs. So we rode on the motorcycle, got a few specialty coffees/shakes (mine/his), shopped for a fishing pole for our 13yo, wondered if Ike would come our way (he didn't, but we enjoyed the breezes he sent us), watched on t.v. as poor Texas was pounded by Ike and more of that sort of stuff.
He's off on business for two weeks, so although we miss him terribly, it's kind of nice to get the kiddos and me back into a routine. Which includes blogging!
And sewing. I've been in a creating mood lately — it must be because it's September, or at least, that's what the calendar says. Around here, September is not at all fall-like; it feels like it's still August. Our Ballerina (she's 11) and our Little Gal (she's 5) and I sewed some backpacks Saturday with friends.
I'm charging my camera battery now, but will take some photos for you of the finished backpacks when the battery is ready. See? I've been so out of a routine that my camera batteries aren't charged up! Goodness. That's extreme. It's funny how men can mess us gals up.
