I decided to fly off to Asheville, North Carolina this weekend, to attend the TypeaMom conference. I'm here, really, to figure out what FreelyEducate.com should be all about, and how much time it should take out of my life, and …and…and. I hope to find some clarity after talking to amazingly smart gals like my friends Jennifer James and Maria Bailey, who both know the company-blogger relationship and know what the numbers in my Google analytics mean.
See, Freely Educate began as a pay-it-forward blog, one where I just helped people find free homeschool stuff because someone had helped us with that once. Over the years, it has grown quite large and has become a big time hog.
Tim and I are trying to decide: do we make the time hog pay us back in the piggy bank? Or, do I just spend way less time on it, letting it float and bring in no money, but also take less time?
That's what I'm hoping I'll figure out at TypeaMom conference.
I want to get back to this blog, which is really my heart and my passion, but I'd also like to help Tim out with filling the piggy bank, if that's possible.
And so I'm off to learn!
