I've been busy lately, sewing costumes and gluing pompoms for our kids' first drama production. They're excited to perform in it tomorrow evening.
The performance is being held rather far away so our friends aren't coming to it, and it's rather far, far away from family, so it'll just be Daddy and I watching, but that's okay,we can be Very Loud Clappers & Boisterous Hoot-Hollerers (although we've been asked not to be, we cannot help it if a hoot comes out).
I'm hoping pompoms don't fall off our little one's silly dress and our little guy's crocheted scarf doesn't unravel and our ballerina doesn't trip and our big fella stands very tall as the band leader.
…But I know it will be okay, even if all that happens, because what is more fun than watching a childrens' production when everything doesn't go perfectly?
See you after Thursday night. Until then, I'm quite busy with my little (and tall) performers.
p.s. I'm planning something big on December 1st. A turn-around-the-corner kind of thing. You'll see.
